On May 20th, the release event of the 18th (2021) China Charity List was held in Chengyang, Qingdao. Huo Bin, Chairman of Yidian Group, won the title of "Philanthropist of the Year".
Chen Zongxing, Vice Chairman of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chen Cungen, former Deputy Secretary of the Working Committee of the Central State Organs and General Manager of the China Social Work Federation, Gong Puguang, Vice Chairman of the Social Construction Committee of the National People's Congress, as well as Liu Jing, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Chairman of the China Charity Federation Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Federation of Social Work and president of the "Public Welfare Times", jointly launched the release event.
What was simultaneously revealed was the list of Chinese charity stars. The "2020 Blue Book on China's Charitable Donation Development" was released at the same time. The event paid great tribute to annual philanthropists, charitable enterprises, foundations, charity projects, charity stars, charity role models, etc.
The China Charity List was founded by the "Public Welfare Times" in 2004. It is China's first list to record the data of large donations, and it is also known as "the list of love for wealthy people in China." The annual China Charity List launch event is a clear-cut promotion of goodwill.
One hundred five philanthropists enter the China Charity List this year (pairs), with a total donation of more than 4.01010 billion yuan; Meanwhile, there are 1,108 charitable companies on the list, with a total donation of 22.69964 billion yuan.
"Practice public welfare and pass on the love." Huo Bin has led the Yidian Group to participate in public welfare undertakings actively and incorporate social responsibility into the corporate strategy. The "Yidian Public Welfare Fund" was first established by the Henan Charity Federation in June 2017 for charitable activities such as poverty alleviation, orphan relief, education assistance, and disaster relief.
