Longding Aluminum Industry's First Carport Distributed Photovoltaic Project Connected to the Grid
21.Sep.2023

Recently, Longding Aluminum Industry's carport distributed photovoltaic project on the west side of the administrative office building has been connected to the grid.
The project uses 550-watt monocrystalline silicon conventional modules with an installed capacity of 207 kilowatts. It is connected to the low-voltage side of the grid. Calculated based on a service life of 25 years, the electricity generation capacity is 302,000 kilowatt-hours. The electricity generated by this photovoltaic carport is prioritized for supplying power to 12 electric vehicle charging stations, with any surplus electricity being used for the office building.
The head of Longding Aluminum Industry stated that the completion and commissioning of the carport distributed photovoltaic project is a vivid illustration of their commitment to the "serving employees in practical matters" concept. It is also an active exploration of a new energy-saving and carbon reduction model, representing a strong move in line with the national and industry green and low-carbon development strategy.
